Proposed GM So vs. GM Giri chess rematch

In Asia and in the Philippine chess scenes, if this GM S0-GM GIRI rematch pushes through, this could be the "blockbuster" that the fans and sponsors are waiting for. The <WTA> stake has been upped to $50,000. GOD helps me in this huge crusade. I need your prayers, my FB friends. Prior to this offer to GM Giri, I sought the assistance of GM Susan Polgar sometime last week of Mar 2010.

It took her a long time to answer, and her answer was plainly, "It would be difficult to get dates and availability of GMs". So I replied immediately, no answer yet? "If I could have GMs So and Giri agree on dates, would you collaborate with me in this rematch"? There is where my negotiation with GM Susan Polgar's stands so far?

Regardless, with this promotion, I feel the chess world outside of the Philippines, should now feel how good chess players are from the Philippines, bannered by our GM So and are therefore worth being in matches like this. And so, Filipinos can also promote blockbuster deals. As I always say, "the time has come" for the Filipinos to shine, and if they shined already-to shine more and more.

By the way, I have yet to formally offer this to GM So, and likewise would seek his "agreement in principle" first.

GM Giri has agreed in principle to play in this match. I have his email attesting to it.
